Friends Used Bookstores

The Friends operate three Used Bookstores and two Book Carts at different Ramsey County Library locations where you can find great bargains on used books and media materials. Friends Bookstores and Book Carts are open during regular library hours. Payment is based on an honor system; simply drop your cash or check into the locked container at each site. Items change weekly and proceeds support Ramsey County Library so be sure to drop by and check us out.

Thanks to our wonderful customers, book donors and hardworking volunteers, the Friends typically raise over $65,000 annually from the sale of used books, CDs, DVDs and audio books. Proceeds from the used bookstores and book carts support Ramsey County Library.
