Donate by Mail

Any donations can be sent via check or cash to our address 4560 North Victoria Street, Shoreview, MN 55126. Checks should be made out to Ramsey County Library Friends.

Donate by Donor-Advised Fund

We welcome donations from your Donor Advised Funds! They can be sent to us at our address using our Tax ID number; both can be found above.

Donate by IRA Distribution

As a 501(c)(3), your donations to the Ramsey County Library Friends are Qualified Charitable Distributions. We will provide you with an acknowledgement that includes the necessary language.

Donate Through Your Employer

Many employers offer the option to donate through payroll deductions. This can be an easy method to support the Friends!

Types of Gifts

Membership Donations

With an annual donation of $20 or more, you can become a Friends member, renew your membership, or give a gift of membership! Use any of the donation methods listed above. All memberships are active from July 1st to June 30th. Please see our membership page [link] for more information.

Sustaining Membership Donations

Monthly recurring donations help us plan ahead with confidence! Plus, they are easy to set up, and your Friends membership is always current. Set up an online recurring donation using a credit card or bank withdrawal with the link above, or call us and we can get you set up. You can also set up a sustaining donation through Bill Pay at your bank, which is often offered as a free service.

Memorial or Tribute Donations

Giving to the Friends is a thoughtful way to honor someone you know or the memory of a loved one. We will send a notification to the individual or their family; please include the name and address for the person whom you would like notified. Use any of the donation methods listed above.

Pavers

For $300, a Reading Garden Paver Stone is a special way to honor or recognize someone. Paver stones are 8”x8” and can be placed at the Roseville, Shoreview, or White Bear Lake libraries. Please see this page [link] for more information.

Employer Matching Donations

Make your gift go even further! Many employers will match their employees’ donations to non-profit organizations. Check with your employer to see if this is an option. We are able to assist with any necessary paperwork. We appreciate your efforts to help expand our impact! We will send you a letter when we receive their gift.

Legacy Gifts

You can help ensure that a legacy of literacy benefits your community by leaving a charitable gift to the Ramsey County Library Friends in your will or estate. When you let us know of your intention, you will join our Legacy Circle. Please see our Legacy page for more information.
